Basilica of St. Cecilia in Trastevere

Erected in the V cent., it was rebuilt in the IX and restaured several times. Inside is the gothic canopy by Arnolfo di Cambio and under the high altar, the delicate statue of the saint by Stefano Maderno. The apse retains a precious mosaic of the IXcent.
