Obelisk Campense

Dedicated to the Pharaon Psammetico it dates back to the 595/589 b.C., of red granite, it is 21,29 mt high. It was used as a sun-dial of Augustus calendar in Campus Martius, after which it was named. Pius VI had it in Piazza Montecitorio
