Obelisk Aureliano

Raised in Viale del Pincio by wish of the pope Pius VII, it is also called Antinoo from the name of the young friend of Hadrian who drowned in the Nile. It was found near Porta Maggiore, 9.24 mt high. The Egyptian inscription was added in Rome
