Capitoline Museums
Realized according to Michelangelo’s design the Conservators’ Palace and the New palace house two museums. Inside treasures of ancient sculpture an paintings of the XVI and XVII cent. Since December 2005 it is possible to admire the original equestrian statue of Emperor Marcus Aurelius in the new exhibition space called “Giardino Romano”.
