Augustus' Mausoleum

Funeral monument erected in 27 b.C. by Augustus, it became the last resting place of Emperors till Hadrian. Diocletian had two obelisks set at the entrance, symbol of the passage to the underworld. It is 44mt high, with a diametre of 87mt.
