1 ROME
Arrival
at Fiumicino Airport. Meeting with our driver for transfer to hotel
3* centrally located. No tour leader during the stay in Rome. Assistance
available through our office in Rome. Overnight at hotel.
Day
2 ROME
Breakfast
at hotel. In the morning guided sightseeing of the monuments of
the city: Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Castel S. Angelo
and St. Peter’s Basilica. In
the afternoon guided sightseeing of Ancient Rome: The Capital Square,
Colosseum (no entrance), Circus Maximus, Basilica of St, Paul outside
the walls. Overnight at hotel.

3 ROME

The morning is free for you to retrace your steps of the previous days, browse
through the chic shops of Via Condotti, or sip a Caffé espresso in the
Historical Caffé Greco.
In the afternoon escorted tour if Christian Rome to see the Basilica of St
Mary Major, St. John in Lateran, and then travel along the Appian Way, passing
the Circus of Maxentius to arrive at the Catacombs(entrance fee included).
End the visit with a panoramic view of Caracalla thermal Baths.

4 ROME

In the morning you will be guided to the heart of Christendom, Vatican city.
Highlights of your guided tour include the Sistine Chapel, and the Vatican
Museums (entrance fee included).Balance of day free for shopping

5 ROME-ASSISI-SIENA-FLORENCE
Breakfast at hotel.
Early morning, departure for ASSISI, the mystic town of Saint Francis still
surrounded by ancient walls. Visit the Basilica of Saint Francis with
its early Renaissance masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue. Proceed on
to SIENA, the beautiful medieval city renown for the Palio. Then on to
FLORENCE. Dinner and overnight at hotel
Day 6 FLORENCE
Breakfast at hotel.
Guided sightseeing tour of the cradle of Renaissance. Visit the beautiful Piazza
del Duomo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto's Bell Tower, the
Baptistery of St. John, the Academy of Fine Arts gallery(entrance fee included)
housing the "David" by Michelangelo and Santa Croce, the 13th century Franciscan
church with Cimabue famous crucifix. This afternoon is free to join an optional
tour to Pisa, town of the leaning tower or to explore additional treasures
of Florence and shop on your own. The outdoor Market of San Lorenzo boasts
leather products, and the Ponte Vecchio, covered since medieval times with
goldsmiths' shops, is a must for Florence's other specialty, gold jewellery.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day
7 FLORENCE- PADUA- VENICE
Breakfast at hotel.
Departure for Venice via Padua, where you will visit the famous Cathedral of
St. Anthony, guarded y Donatello's Gattamelata. Continue on to Venice and upon
arrival enjoy a walking tour of this unique city. You will see the Piazza and
Basilica of St. Mark, the Doge's Palace, the Bridge of sighs and the Prisons.
Then visit a glass factory to see the moulding glass. Dinner and overnight
at hotel.

8 VENICE- ROME

Day at leisure for optional tour to the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello
by motorlaunch or for shopping. In the afternoon, return to Rome by motorcoach
or Italian Rail. overnight at hotel.
Day 9 ROME
Breakfast at hotel.
Day free for shopping or optional tours.

10 ROME - NAPLES - POMPEII – SORRENTO
Breakfast
at hotel.
Departure to NAPLES, panoramic city tour including Mergellina, Castel dell’Ovo,
the Royal Palace. Continue to POMPEII. Visit the ruins. Lunch in a typical
restaurant. After a short visit to a Cameo factory, proceed along the coast
to SORRENTO, a jewel of the Sorrentine Peninsula, famous for the cultivation
of oranges, lemons and olive trees. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 11 SORRENTO - ISLAND OF CAPRI - SORRENTO
Breakfast
at hotel.
Excursion to Capri to discover the beauty of this wonderful island. Weather
permitting visit the Blue Grotto. Lunch in a typical restaurant. Visit Anacapri
wiith its magnificent views, time at leisure. Return to Sorrento by ferry.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 12 SORRENTO - ROME
Breakfast at hotel.
Free time to discover the beauty of this wonderful coastal resort, or to explore
the area. You can take a local bus and visit Amalfi and Positano, or take time
to relax and plunge into the water of the Mediterranean Sea.
In the afternoon return to Rome by motorcoach. Traffic permitting, estimated
time of arrival approximately 09.00 pm.
